What did
Robert K. have to say? Well, we got our first reviews about our first singles. Here’s what Robert K. had to say about DeAnna and Nikki: About DeAnna’s “I’m a Long Gone Mama” “It takes guts to cover Hank, but this belter is up to the task. And so are the hot fiddler, piano plunker, and steel player.” About Nikki’s “C-O-W-B-O-Y” “Stuttering guitars and a funky backbeat support a pert vocal on a cute spelling song. Highly listenable.” - Robert K. Oermann, Music Row magazine. I guess he liked them. |

The reviews
are in! (Well, one is anyway…) From December's issue of Nashville Music Guide: "Southern boys seem to have a knack for singing country soul. This debut album from Knight proves he is no exception. Produced by Brien Fisher for the independent Rustic Records label, the group dug deep to come up with songs from some of Music City's premium musical scribes, not to mention the caliber of the pickers on the album. Of the ten cuts on the CD, "That's What a Redneck Is," penned by Hayward Franks, has "hit" written all over it as far as I'm concerned. So listen up radio! Find your copy at www.rusticrecordsinc.com." Pretty sweet, huh? |
